Back pain affects an increasing part of society and has many causes. These include not only degenerative conditions of the spine, such as disc disease, scoliosis, sciatica, or osteoarthritis, but also more everyday reasons: obesity, too little movement, a sedentary lifestyle, and even stress. The most common causes of back pain are:
- Muscle tension and poor postural habits — long hours spent at a computer, an incorrect position during sleep or work, and stress cause tension in the neck and shoulder muscles. This is the most common cause of pain, especially among people with a sedentary lifestyle.
- Injuries and overload — sudden movements or overloading muscles can lead to pain and limited mobility.
- Neurological problems — pressure on nerves can cause numbness, tingling, or weakness in the arms and hands, legs, and feet.
- Degenerative changes of the spine — with age, changes in bone and joint structures can cause pain, stiffness, and problems with mobility.
- Other conditions — inflammatory and rheumatic diseases.
For back pain, the best remedy is often a spinal massage rather than pain medication, although medication can sometimes be necessary. Massage helps by relaxing tense muscles, improving blood circulation, and reducing inflammation. It works mainly by breaking up painful muscle knots and improving tissue oxygenation. The massage covers the entire back, from the base of the skull to the sacral area. A longer treatment allows deeper muscular tension to be released more thoroughly and gives more attention to the most overloaded areas.
Treatment duration: 30 minutes — 120 PLN / 45 minutes — 150 PLN.
